Enablex Directions

Take this medicine as directed by your doctor. An additional patient leaflet is available if you wish to know more information.
Enablex or Darifenacin can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. Swallow whole and do not crush, break or chew this medicine.
For best results, take this medicine regularly. Do not stop taking this medicine even if you feel better. If you miss a dose, take your missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, then skip your missed dose and take only your next scheduled dose. Do not take two doses at once.
Store this medicine at room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from heat or light. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted.

Enablex Cautions

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it or any ingredients used in this product.
Do not exceed your dosage or take this medicine for longer than the prescribed period without first consulting your doctor. Keep your doctor and laboratory appointments as your doctor may wish to monitor your progress and check for side effects. Do not suddenly stop taking Enablex or Darifenacin without consulting your doctor.
This medicine may cause dizziness and impair your ability to carry out certain tasks safely. Please avoid driving, operating machinery or any other potentially hazardous activities until you know how you react to this medicine. Limit your alcohol intake as this may exacerbate these effects.
Take care not to become overheated during hot weather or during exercise, as this medicine increases the risk of heat stroke. Symptoms of heat stroke includes sudden or severe tiredness, weakness, anxiety, dizziness, or fainting. Seek immediate medical attention if this occurs.
For women who wish to become pregnant, discuss the risks and benefits of this medicine with your doctor. It is not known if this medicine passes into breast milk, therefore it is recommended that you consult with your doctor or pharmacist before breastfeeding your baby.

Enablex Side Effects

Side effects that may occur while taking this medicine include dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, dry eyes, blurred vision, decreased amount of urine produced, stomach upset or pain, nausea, or weakness. If they continue or are severe, check with your doctor.
Contact your doctor as soon as possible if you experience an unusual or severe headache, back pain, pain below the ribs, fever, chills, bloody or cloudy urine, painful urination, or if you are unable to urinate despite an urge to do so.
An allergic reaction to this medicine is unlikely, however please be aware of the signs and seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms include: tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, rash, hives, swelling of the face or severe dizziness.
