What are Generics? A generic

Description
This medicine is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used to treat endometriosis. It may also be used to treat prostate cancer and for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. STORE THIS MEDICINE as directed by the prescription label.
Cautions
DO NOT MISS ANY DOSES of this medicine. Missing doses will decrease the effectiveness of this medicine. FOR WOMEN: YOUR MONTHLY PERIOD SHOULD STOP while you are using this medicine. If it continues, notify your doctor. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE if you are pregnant. IF YOU SUSPECT THAT YOU COULD BE PREGNANT, contact your doctor immediately. You may still become pregnant even though your monthly period stops. Birth control pills may not prevent pregnancy while using this medicine. Use an alternate form of birth control. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS DRUG IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.
Side Effects
SIDE EFFECTS include hot flashes or sweating; headaches; mood changes; decreased desire for sex; acne; muscle pain or weakness; nausea or vomiting; or changes in breast size. If they are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience dizziness; continued vaginal bleeding; swelling of the ankles or hands; joint pain; or weight gain or loss. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur.
