What are Generics? A generic

Description
This medicine is a corticosteroid used to reduce itching, redness, and swelling associated with skin conditions of the scalp.
Directions
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine comes with a patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. TO USE THIS MEDICINE: turn the can upside down and dispense a small amount of this medicine into the cap of the can, onto a clean saucer, or other cool, clean surface, or directly onto the affected area, taking care to avoid contact with the eyes. Dispensing directly onto the hand is not recommended, as the foam will melt immediately upon touching warm skin. Gently rub the medicine into the affected scalp area until the foam disappears. This medicine should not be used on the face, groin, or armpits. Wash your hands after applying this medicine. DO NOT BANDAGE OR WRAP the affected area unless directed otherwise by your doctor. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, apply it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
Cautions
IF YOUR SYMPTOMS DO NOT IMPROVE WITHIN A FEW DAYS, or if they become worse, check with your doctor. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE longer than the time prescribed. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE for other skin conditions at a later time. DO NOT GET THIS MEDICINE in your eyes. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Side Effects
When this medicine is applied, mild, temporary burning, stinging, or itching may occur. If it continues or is bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience redness, or swelling. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
