Rilutek Description

Rilutek is a prescription only medicine used for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Rilutek works by reducing the levels of glutamate in nerve cells, which has a protective effect on nerves and is thought to slow the disease progress.

Rilutek Directions

Take this medicine as only directed by your doctor. Rilutek should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating a meal. Take this medicine at the same time every day.
