Description

This medicine is a bronchodilator used to treat or prevent the symptoms of asthma, emphysema, and other breathing conditions. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Directions

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. SWALLOW WHOLE. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. STORE THIS MEDICINE in the refrigerator between 36 and 46 degrees F (2 and 8 degrees C), away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are using it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions

DO NOT INCREASE YOUR DOSE or use this medicine more often than recommended by your doctor. IF YOUR BREATHING PROBLEMS DO NOT GO AWAY, or if they get worse after using this medicine, contact your doctor immediately. WITH SOME BRANDS OF THIS MEDICINE, you may notice a tablet in your stool. There is no cause for concern because your body has absorbed the medicine even if the tablet does not dissolve. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.

Side Effects

SIDE EFFECTS, that may occur while taking this medicine include:
Shaking, usually of the hands
Nervous tension
Headache
Faster than normal heart beat
Awareness of your heart beat (heart palpitations)
Muscle cramps
Low blood potassium level (hypokalaemia).
