This medicine is a muscle relaxant used to provide relief from muscle spasms and pain from musculoskeletal conditions. This medicine should be used in conjunction with rest and physical therapy.

Take this medicine as directed by your doctor. This medicine may be taken on either an empty stomach or with food. It is recommended that you take this medicine with food if it causes you upset stomach.

This medicine may increase your risk of heat stroke. To reduce this from happening, ensure you avoid becoming overheated in hot weather or during exercise. Stay well hydrated while exercising.
Caution is advised for elderly patients taking this medicine as they may be more sensitive to the side effects, especially dizziness, confusion, hallucinations, and fast or irregular heartbeat.
For women who plan on becoming pregnant, or plan to breast feed, please discuss the risks and benefits of doing so while taking this medicine.
Side effects that may occur while taking this medicine include constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, nausea, nervousness, and stomach pain or cramps. If these persist or worsen over time, check with your doctor.
Contact your doctor immediately if you experience chest pain, confusion, fainting, fast or irregular heartbeat, mental or mood changes, numbness of an arm or a leg, one-sided weakness, seizures, sudden severe stomach pain, severe vomiting, speech or vision problems, trouble urinating, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
An allergic reaction to this medicine is unlikely; however seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.
