Breztri Aerosphere (Budesonide/Glycopyrrolate/Formoterol Fumarate) is a prescription inhaler used for the long-term maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. It contains three medications in a single inhaler: budesonide (a corticosteroid to reduce inflammation), glycopyrrolate (an anticholinergic to relax airway muscles), and formoterol fumarate (a long-acting beta2-agonist that improves breathing). This combination helps reduce symptoms, improve lung function, and decrease flare-ups in people with COPD, including those with chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema.
Breztri Aerosphere (Budesonide/Glycopyrrolate/Formoterol Fumarate) is prescribed to:
Improve lung function and breathing in adults with COPD
Reduce the frequency and severity of COPD exacerbations (flare-ups)
Provide twice-daily maintenance relief from chronic respiratory symptoms
It is not a rescue inhaler and should not be used for sudden breathing problems. Always carry a fast-acting inhaler, such as albuterol, for emergencies.
To comply with Canadian International Pharmacy Association regulations you are permitted to order a 3-month supply or the closest package size available based on your personal prescription. read more
Use Breztri Aerosphere (Budesonide/Glycopyrrolate/Formoterol Fumarate) exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Common instructions often include:
Inhale 2 puffs twice a day—once in the morning and once in the evening
Do not exceed 4 total puffs per day
Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after each use to help prevent oral thrush (do not swallow)
Do not spray into the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes with water
Always follow the step-by-step instructions provided with your inhaler
Do not stop taking other COPD medications or start new ones without consulting your doctor. Breztri does not replace your rescue inhaler.

Breztri should not be used in children, as it has not been studied in pediatric populations.
No specific dietary changes are needed while using Breztri
If you have diabetes, monitor your blood sugar levels regularly, as Breztri may increase blood glucose
If you miss a dose:
